Greg Auerbach is an East-coaster living in Los Angeles. He's been doing "strange projects" for as long as he can remember, and he's always held the mindset that anyone who can go ahead and take a chance on an idea, crazy as it may be, is a step ahead and a cut above.
We are proud to carry his large scale pop art portraits of well known film stars! The silhouettes are a screen print atop magazine and newspaper tearouts that includes the stories of squalor, scandal and fame regarding the actor or actress depicted! The result is a bold graphic that pops off the wall yet reveals an intricate and colorful collage upon closer inspection.
Come by and visit us in our Culver City showroom to soak in this incredible work!
We always get excited to see what Pantone will predict for the color of the year, and imagine our surprise this year when the selection was such a bold and feminine selection. We got into it, and decided to try out the Jaxon line in variations on the color!

We noticed that lifestyle blogger, Heather from A House in the Hills, has nailed the modern Southern California bohemian look in her Palm Springs home... and she's done it by using a warm worn leather sectional as her base!
We love leather, so we're totally into it. The curvy brass elements play nice with the sharper mid-century lines of the sofa, and the various textiles bring in layers of texture that make that buttery smooth brown leather sing.
If you ask us, she knocked it out of the park by mixing in some feminine notions with a very clean base that really could translate into a lot of looks. It's so fun to see the range that a timeless sofa can have.

Lena wanted this corner of the store to feel modern but warm. You can totally feel her eclectic spirit in the vignette.
Love how she positioned the two deep lush red velvet wing backs traditionally in front of the Bowie Sofa. She says the Hitchcock above her is one of her favorite pieces in the store, along with another piece by the same artist, featuring Bill Murray.
She grabbed a few vintage collectibles from around the showroom and assembled them on the case goods. It gives the vignette a lived in feeling with some layer.
Lena’s aesthetic at home leans bohemian, gypsyish, with lots of layers. She’s a hippie at heart, but here on the showroom floor she enjoys juxtaposing clean lines with wood tones and textures, modern, but warm, sophisticated but comfortable… it’s truly a Jaxon vibe.
Thanks Lena!
