Jaxon Home's Handpicked vintage Collection by Victory Richer January 13 2015

Author:Avinash Rathi

When Victoria and Braden returned from market last season, a truck full of vintage goods followed them. Soon after, we launched the hand-picked vintage collection here on JaxonHome.com.

Victoria has always had an affection for unique, one of a kind and gently worn items. Adding a vintage piece to a modern vignette can often times make the difference in its sophistication.

We added a much needed patina to the Jaxon MINI photo shoot by injecting the vignettes with vintage clocks, fans and even some playful school days Locker storage. Madeline hams it up below, but do note how sophisticated a kid's space suddenly seems with a little age on the elements.

Another favorite vignette of late is Tony's set up from the store. He pulled in some key pieces from the flower child era to make the throwback Thurston collection sing.

From partnering up with some of our favorite fabrication houses, like Style de Vie to cruising the Flea Markets and local Southern California thrift stores for those one of kind finds, the Jaxon Home Handpicked Vintage collection is well amassed offering sure to bring texture and interest into your decor.

Javon and Rashad January 13 2015

We received another kind note from some happy #JaxoninAction clients.

Jovon and Rashad wanted a durable performance velvet in navy blue and we were happy to set them up with a lovely and long Marley Sofa with Ottoman. The ottoman gives the room the feeling of a sectional, but retains the flexibility to pull the extra seating around the room to accommodate large family gatherings or game nights around the coffee table!

Thanks for shopping with us, and for sharing a picture of your new sofa Jovon & Rashad, we're so happy that you are happy!

That Jaxon Steampunk Vibe January 13 2015

More specifically a sub-genre of science fiction, steampunk is more of a fantasy than a home decor niche. But, our lead designer is totally inspired by the fantasy of this retro-futuristic style! Mixed with a little bit of luxe material and a lot of rustic finish - a steampunk influence can really make for modern mix.
